On the 8th and 9th November, a representative team of the project CircWaste from Finland visited the facilities of Etra in Bassano del Grappa (Italy).
The visit is part of the networking actions to foster cooperation between the two projects and support the widespread of best practices such as the PAYT and disseminate the results of the KAYT pilots.
During the visit has been possible to experience the reading of the waste deliveries, which is the first step for the data acquisition needed for PAYT implementation. Furthermore, the presentation of the projects enabled a deeper understanding of the specific background of these two different realities, opening possible cooperation in the next future.
Furthermore, the visit to a 24/7 automatic recycling centre and the waste hub and organic waste treatment plant of Bassano proved how innovation is crucial for an efficient waste management.
The cooperation between the two projects will continue with the exchange of best practices and results achieved in order to expand the dissemination and pave the way for future partnerships!
